Coronary Care Nurse

The Assistant Director of Nursing will work alongside the Director of Nursing in delivering the highest standards of Nursing care to residents while promoting a homely environment where the residents quality of life is ensured.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure all staff contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Nursing Home.
· Interact with residents to ensure their healthcare needs are met and resolve any problems where appropriate.
· Liaise with the District Nurse regarding resident’s healthcare needs.
· Report any ill health amongst residents and make requests for GP visits when necessary.
·Undertake general nursing work & personal care as appropriate.
· Practice maximum integrity in all dealings with residents personal and financial affairs.
· Any ad hoc duties

Qualifications:

· A team leader with excellent management skills

· Previous Management and Supervising experience
· Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
